Welcome to Threetrees Interior Design Studio!

We are a full service interior design studio founded in 2002. Located in Old Lyme, Connecticut, our lead designers are board certified and licensed interior designers with over 30 years of experience. Our team utilizes DesignSmart for project management, along with AutoCAD, Revit and SketchUp software for construction documentation.  This technology, in addition to good old fashioned hand sketches, help us convey design intent in a way that allows our clients to better envision their space and associated costs.

We believe the design process should be straightforward, enjoyable and reflect the lifestyle of those we serve. In our experience, the most successful projects are products of creativity, education and partnership between our team and our clients.

Projects range in scope from assisting clients with paint colors to executing extensive interior renovations. Our design build services, primarily for kitchens, baths and cabinetry, allow us to streamline what is often a daunting endeavor for most homeowners. We help our clients collaborate closely with architects, and follow our thoroughly reviewed plans through to final installation complete with furniture and furnishings. Working as a single point source for information and documentation, our step-by-step process eliminates undue stress and ensures adherence to both schedule and budget. 

Our boutique showroom is a curated collection of everything from fabrics, wallpaper, bespoke furnishings, antiques, lighting, tile, flooring, hardware, surfaces and cabinetry. While we would normally welcome drop in visits, due to the state of Connecticut’s evolving COVID-19 safety protocols, all studio visits require scheduled appointments.
